What to wear
What to wear for your dance lesson
One of the first questions that appears when you decide to take your first dance class is `what should I wear?`.
At Yatskova Dance Studio we teach exclusively social dances. Therefore, attending our dance classes does not require wearing specific type of dance clothes or shoes. For your dance lesson you can wear any clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable to move in.
However, there are certain things that you should keep in mind when choosing the clothes and shoes for your dance class. Here are our suggestions that will help you to make the right choice:
1) Wear any clothes and shoes that you feel confident and comfortable to move in.
2) Wear shoes that have some degree of slip, it will make it easier for you to move and turn while dancing.
3) Be sure that your shoes are secure on your feet so they don`t come off when you are dancing.
The most common types of clothes that people wear on our dance classes:
Men: T-shirts, shirts; jeans, any pants; dress shoes or casual shoes with a smooth bottom (sneakers or tennis shoes with a flat rubber bottom); any dance clothing or shoes.
